We’re thrilled to introduce version 1.4 of SmartMyBoat Navigator for Roku— your ultimate companion for smarter, safer, and more connected boating! This update brings powerful new features designed to give you more control, clarity, and convenience on the water.

In current version we parse each Parameter Group Number data – a unique numerical identifier used in the NMEA into a separate thread for increased responsiveness, and improved performance. Whether it’s engine alerts, fuel levels, or navigation waypoints, you’ll see what matters most, when it matters most.

Localized for Boaters Worldwide

No matter where you sail, Smart My Boat Navigator speaks your language. Version 1.4 is now localized for multiple languages and countries, ensuring that menus, alerts, and instructions are clear and intuitive—whether you’re cruising the Mediterranean, the Caribbean, or beyond.

How to Upgrade?

Highlight Navigator app on your home screen, press the Star (*) button on your remote, and select “Check for updates”. Roku devices usually check for app and system software updates automatically every day, but you can manually check by going to Settings > System > Software update > Check Now. Depending on a country you’re located automatic update may not be available. In which case you may have to remove the app and then install it again from the Roku Channel Store.
